A personal note from the author
Hello, and thank you for stopping by.
It's great that you could take the time out of your busy schedule to visit my site and see what is going on in my workd. If you didn't know, I am a self-published author with an intense love of westerns. I know, I know, it isn't a genre that most people are passionate about but I just can't help myself. Ever since I was a little tike I have found the books of Louis L'amour and others of his ilk fascinating. So you know what I did when I grew up? I started writing my own westerns with a twist that many of the books that I read in my youth didn't have. I wrote most of my characters as African-Americans.
It makes since if you really think about it since I am African-American myself.
That's crazy you say? No, not the fact that I'm black, but that I'm saying there were African-American cowboys and Marshals. Well, it is true, and with the knowledge that there was a time when men of color were involved in the genre I loved, well, I just couldn't contain my enthusiasm.
In the year 2004 is when this endeavor really took off when I published my first book Ebony Marshal.(you can actually purchase it from this site if you would like to examine it a bit more). The knowledge of characters such as Bass Reeves, and Bill Pickett was fresh in my mind, and I felt compelled to bring my passion to the forefront of American literature.
In the year 2006 I followed Ebony Marshal up with a second book called Ebony Marshal: Bitter (hint: the title holds the key to who the bad guy is in this book. Think a name from the Bible). It was met with about the same response as the first book.
This year, Gospel of the Gun will be in release on May 9, 2008 and it is guaranteed to hold your attention. My publishing quest continues. Hopefully, you will stay along for the ride.
Inside you will find information about my self-published books, as well as books that I have on the way. You will also find some of my online writings (movie reviews of films important to me), an online calender of events I will be attending, and some of my other passions.
